I do not send someone else from my office to do my job.
Choosing An Experienced Social Security Disability Attorney Is A Wise Decision
My law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina, focuses exclusively on helping my clients receive Social Security Disability benefits. When you have an illness or injury that has lasted or can be expected to last at least 12 consecutive months, you may be entitled to benefits.
I have devoted my professional career to the field of Social Security Disability. I began my career in 1979 as a disability examiner with the North Carolina Disability Determination Services. I learned firsthand the inner workings of Social Security Disability. I learned what the government requires in the handling of reports, medical and vocational records and the disability criteria specified by law. As a disability examiner, I approved or denied disability claims for 13 years.
After graduating from law school and passing the bar, I opened my own practice in 1993. My wife, Melody, who worked at the North Carolina Disability Determination Services in Raleigh, North Carolina, for 25 years, is now my paralegal. For more than 20 years, my law firm has helped deserving people obtain their rightful Social Security Disability benefits.
NO FEE UNLESS YOU WIN
I understand the financial and emotional hardship of having a painful, debilitating illness or injury that forces you to stop working. As your attorney, I will represent your case on a contingency basis. That means that I do not charge an attorney fee unless you win your case and obtain the back benefits that you need and deserve.
Like all disability lawyers, my attorney fee is regulated by the Social Security Administration (SSA). That means I cannot charge an attorney fee without the approval of the SSA. My fee agreement complies with all federal guidelines.
If your claim is approved, my fee is limited to 25 percent of your past-due benefits, up to a maximum of $6,000. I am paid only out of your past-due benefits (back pay). If your claim is not approved, there is no attorney fee. You may be responsible for the out of pocket cost of providing medical records to the Administrative Law Judge.
